Come and join us for a weekend with the Burlington Sport Alliance to help promote the Burlington sporting community!  ACTIVE Sport & Health will be involved in the Sport Marketplace at Mainway Arena on Friday, May 9th (6-8pm) and Saturday, May 10th (9-4pm).

The Burlington Sport Alliance is a collaboration of sporting organizations that work cooperatively to provide a collective voice for the ongoing promotion and education of the benefits of sport within Burlington. Together they will provide opportunities to coaches, athletes, organizations and parents to enhance the sporting experience in Burlington.

Marketplace Activities Include:

• Free Public Skating (Mainway Arena) 11:00 a.m. to 1:00pm
• Sports demos, martial arts, gymnastics, basketball
• CHML cruiser will be onsite
• Bruiser, the Hamilton Bulldogs Mascot
• Sr. AAA Women’s Hockey Players including Becky Keller and her Olympic Gold Medal
• Burlington International Games (B.I.G.) official Kick-off with Mayor’s Opening Remarks
• BBQ outside
